From the outset, I want to make clear that this isn’t a review of DAT Booster. We’ve already done a full review of the DAT Booster program that gets very in-depth in our analysis of this course.
Instead, this post is for the people who are just looking for a last minute coupon code or to learn some more about the biggest discounts in the DAT prep space.
The everyday, year-round discount you can expect with DAT Booster is anywhere from none to 10% off. In other words, 10% off is usually their baseline savings when the company does decide to run a sale. Like most DAT prep companies, Booster seems to run sales around the academic calendar when students begin studying for their exams.
So 10% off is the baseline discount you can expect on this DAT prep resource, and you can normally find a coupon floating around at that level.
Now, in terms of grabbing a bigger percentage off, it’s pretty hit and miss. We have sometimes seen the company offer 20% off around major holidays, especially Black Friday, but just being honest, it’s pretty rare.
They only seem to do this a couple times per year and are otherwise content to just offer the more typical 10% off.
If you can afford to wait it out and be patient, you might be able to grab that 20% off coupon, but I wouldn’t hold your breath. We haven’t noticed any real rhyme or reason to these steeper discounts other than a couple major holidays.

With DAT Booster, you have two options to choose from. After you exhaust the available resources in their limited free version, you can upgrade to their premium membership, which costs $399 and includes 90 days of access.
Alternatively, you can upgrade to the premium membership max, which costs $699 and includes 180 days of access. In my opinion, 90 days of access should be plenty for most students.
In comparison to other DAT prep programs, this is a good price point. Booster’s closest competitor, DAT Bootcamp, charges $519 for their comparable package, which is about $120 more. Though, it is worth noting that our team actually rates DAT Bootcamp ahead of DAT Booster.
With DAT Booster, you get 10 full-length DAT practice tests, almost 9,000 total practice problems, short video lectures covering content review, study notes, cheat sheets, a study schedule, and a few other tools.
DAT Booster is one of the better DAT prep programs we’ve used and reviewed. We’ve tested out close to a dozen different DAT courses and packages of study material at this point, and Booster is a pretty good prep option for those studying for the Dental Admission Test.
However, students may also want to consider the DAT prep courses from Kaplan and DAT Bootcamp as well though. Our team gives those two prep courses very high grades.
