Champions School Of Real Estate vs AceableAgent
Determine which real estate school is best for you between Champions and Aceable Agent
If your goal is to become a licensed real estate professional in Texas, there is a good chance you are trying to decide between AceableAgent and the Champions School Of Real Estate for your pre-licensing education and exam prep needs. In this article, we compare and contrast these two popular real estate schools so you can decide which one is the better fit for your budget and learning preferences.
Reasons To Choose AceableAgent For Your Real Estate Education
To kick this comparison off, let’s discuss the advantages of using AceableAgent for your real estate education as opposed to the Champions School of Real Estate.
AceableAgent Is More Affordable
First, it’s important to mention that AceableAgent is much more affordable than the Champions School of Real Estate (and by a wide margin).
For example, AceableAgent’s most popular pre-licensing package (their Deluxe bundle) costs around $580, whereas the cheapest package from the Champions School of Real Estate costs around $1,100.
Therefore, by opting to go with AceableAgent for your real estate education needs, you’ll likely save at least $500.
Plus, AceableAgent seems to be more aggressive with sales and discounts too. For instance, I regularly see their Deluxe bundle on sale for $50-$60 off.
Ideal For Auditory Learners
In my view, one of the primary advantages of AceableAgent is its suitability for auditory learners. While AceableAgent does incorporate video into its curriculum on occasion, the majority of its lessons are audio-based.
This means that all text displayed within the lessons is also provided as audio narration, allowing you to listen rather than read. Also, the narrator does an excellent job, using inflection, pauses, volume, and tone to help you grasp the material effectively.
Unlike a computerized voice, this narration feels natural and engaging, almost like listening to a podcast. Therefore, if you prefer auditory learning or find reading tedious, AceableAgent is likely a great match for your learning style.
Moreover, because you only need to listen and not read, you can easily tackle a significant portion of the lessons while multitasking, such as walking your dog or cleaning dirty dishes. This flexibility means you don’t have to be glued to your computer all day, which is a nice perk.
Exceptional Mobile App
Another advantage of AceableAgent is its mobile app, which is something that Champions does not offer. Now to be fair, Champions does offer a web-based app that you can access while you’re out and about, but ultimately, it’s just not the same as having an actual mobile app on your phone.
AceableAgent’s mobile app, on the other hand, is modern, intuitive, and easy to use. This means that if you’re a busy person who is unable to sit down at a computer for hours at a time, and you prefer to study during your lunch break or while on-the-go, AceableAgent is likely the better option for you.
Pass Guarantee
Finally, AceableAgent offers a pass guarantee, unlike the Champions School of Real Estate. If you enroll in one of AceableAgent’s courses, complete all the required pre-licensing hours and exam prep materials, and still do not pass your licensing exam after three attempts, AceableAgent will refund your money. This guarantee serves as a valuable insurance policy.
In contrast, the Champions School of Real Estate only offers a 5-day refund policy minus a $20 cancellation policy and the cost of your textbook, which is obviously not ideal.
Reasons To Choose The Champions School Of Real Estate
Now that we’ve discussed the major advantages of going with AceableAgent, let’s turn the tables and cover the major reasons to consider choosing the Champions School of Real Estate.
Multiple Delivery Methods
One of the biggest perks of going with the Champions School of Real Estate is that you can choose between four different delivery methods.
Blended Classroom
Virtual Classroom
Online Interactive
Online Correspondence
The first choice (blended classroom) is ideal for people that need the accountability that comes along with a set class schedule. Essentially, you spend half your time studying at home, and then attend live classes at one of the school’s brick and mortar locations located in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston.
The virtual classroom option is great for people that want or need live classes but don’t live near a big city in Texas.
Then lastly, the online interactive and online correspondence options are great for people that do not need their hand held, and prefer to study on their own.
All in all, I think it’s great that Champions basically allows you to choose how you want to learn.
Stellar Real Estate Books
Another advantage of going with the Champions School of Real Estate is that they provide hardcopy textbooks with each of their courses.
These textbooks are incredibly detailed, and do a great job of breaking down all the information you need to know for your state licensing exam.
Therefore, I’d say if you’re more of an old-school type of learner that prefers hardcopy prep books in which you can highlight key points, and keep notes in the margins, then Champions School of Real Estate would be a good choice.
Study Halls
Another benefit of choosing the Champions School of Real Estate is they offer live study halls for students twice per month. These study halls are an excellent opportunity for you to connect with expert instructors to get your questions answered or simply ask for advice.
Plus, what’s nice is that you can send you questions to the instructors ahead of time so they can prepare detailed, helpful responses rather than receiving a brief answer off-the-cuff (similar to Prep Agent).
Well, after carefully reviewing and evaluating the licensing courses and exam prep materials from both companies, I have to give the win to AceableAgent.
Sure, there are definitely some benefits of going with the Champions School of Real Estate. For example, if you need or want live in-person instruction, Champions is an excellent choice, but all things considered, it’s just difficult to justify their high price tag.
At the end of the day, AceableAgent is simply the better value. Not only are their courses several hundred dollars cheaper, but I also like their podcast style lessons, mobile app, and pass guarantee.
How does AceableAgent and the Champions School of Real Estate compare?
AceableAgent and Champions differ in their learning approach and course offerings. AceableAgent offers online, self-paced courses with interactive content, while Champions School of Real Estate provides in-person and online classes with a more traditional, classroom-based approach.
Which real estate school is better - AceableAgent or Champions?

Additionally, AceableAgent offers excellent customer support, an attractive pass guarantee, and is quite a bit cheaper than the Champions School of Real Estate.
